When I decided to register in the university I chose a major related to education which is teaching
English as a second language. While I was learning this major I noticed that I found myself in this
major which means that teaching is one of my passions in life. I was passionate to learn and know
more about what is teaching all about, how to use the methods, plan the activities, and refer to
classroom management.
I started teaching in one of the schools this year while pursuing my teaching diploma in education.
Actually its nor easy as it seems to be. For me it is interesting because what I am using in my own
classroom I am able to apply it in what I am learning in the university. It's interesting how you are
applying the methods, approaches, and techniques that you are learning. Teaching is really interesting
and enjoyable when you use it the right way.
We notice that teachers sometimes teach for the purpose of delivering a lesson to students but they
don't know that they can make the lesson enjoyable, attractive, and fun. As teachers we need to work
on making the lesson enjoyable , fun , motivational, and
attractive. Teaches should work on teaching students that not everything we
learn is related to grades. We can learn for the purpose of building our future and helping
students effectively to understand the content.
